“ My sister wanted to try JC’s restaurant after getting recommended by it by a coworker at first we were skeptical because of the area it was in but it turned out really good. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I got the steamed clams with garlic butter, jalapenos, celery and onion with some bread (you could add spaghetti to it) it was honestly the best steamed clams I ever had I would definitely get it again. My sister got a burger medium with a side of Mac and cheese the burger was really good, not too greasy really tasty cooked medium. We got dessert too, we got banana cheese cake and churros. The banana cake was okay it tasted like cheese cake more than it did banana. The churros was so good it was crispy but not crunchy and hard it was just the perfect amount of cinnamon not over powering just right with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream it made the dessert prefect and is the best churros I’ve ever had coming from a person who always get churros as dessert wherever I go. Price wise it’s fair the match the food. And is definitely worth it. Custom service was really nice and attentive. All in all I would 100% recommend this place! ”
“ I ordered the Prime Angus Burger, without the mushrooms on it. Very, very, good burger Cooked to my Medium Rare preference. The bun was one of the better ones out there... It was toasted, as well Fries were crispy, as I asked them to be.. Dont think they were hand cut, but, so what, most of the time. Service was really good, and attentive As I mentioned the burger was very good, but it not's moving any other burger out of my top 10... It's real close, but so are a lot of others... No problem recommending the burger, or the restaurant, to anyone. JCs Mike's Place Too, right next to the Mastic Firehouse 12/22/2024 ”

The peanut butter pie we had for dessert could be a meal of its own well I recommend saving some room for it at least. had the pene ala vodka, filet with rice and vegetables the Cajun burger with potatoes. everything was very good Oh and we had wings for an appetizer ”

“ I have been coming to JC's, formally known as Mike's Place, for years. It is my favorite/bar restaurant. The wait staff is so attentive and lovely. Sue, u r the best! The Bartenders make agreat drinks and always have a great IPA on tap. Thank u Mike. And then there is the food! Everything is fresh and delicious. But what I come for are the wings and coleslaw. I ask for well done, blackened and they come out perfect! Then with Mike's sauce, Deliciosis! They r the best in town and beyond! To the owner, Keep up the great work. Thank you everyone, Susan ”

“ We sat at the bar and didn't have the full table service experience. Bar tender was still friendly, prompt and attentive. The place was very clean, simple but pleasant aesthetic. Nice big bar. Slightly moody vibe. But the food was perfection!!! I've found the quality of so many restaurants has gone down since the pandemic. They cut corners and cheap out where they think they can. Not this place! I saw some of the dishes coming out and everything looked incredible so I took the chance and ordered the blackened salmon. Omg! It was perfect!! Thick cut, cooked to perfection, firm tasty, perfectly seasoned. Generous portion of rice and quality carrots on the side. My friend ordered the salmon salad and neither one of us could stop raving about our dishes. I watched all the people's dishes around us come out and each looked incredible! Huge portions, quality food. I can't wait to bring my husband for date night. Extensive menu options, something for everyone. Priced fairly... ”
